■ To support colleagues by liaising closely with Clients, Residents, Contractors, Developers, Clerk of Works and other key stakeholders.

■ Develop an understanding of the requirements of the role of a Building Surveyor, completing works required by the Building Safety Act, using guidance from the regulator, with other internal and external project team members and in close collaboration with the Manager/Team Leader.

■ Experience of diagnostic and building pathology and reporting on residential, education and healthcare buildings.

■ Understand what the key outputs (deliverables) are within a project, to ensure the Client gets the information they need.

■ To understand and support the preparation of the key building information and information required to complete a building safety case and audit and compliance trackers and logs, using (after training)

appropriate software.

■ Work towards completing a relevant professional qualification (support will be provided) or recently qualified.

Main Duties

■ Assisting with the delivery of the building safety case works including completing building safety case reports.

■ Working for a small team, reporting directly to the Team Leader/Delivery Director.

■ Work on projects based in London and surrounding areas - valid UK driving licence required.

■ Have an interest in developing a career path within the built environment and develop the skills and knowledge consistent with the post of Building Surveyor.
